Seagrass rugs offer natural beauty combined with an inherent strength and stain resistance. This means that seagrass can be used in most situations. It comes in fine and a standard yarn, in a choice of original weave, basketweave or herringbone. Seagrass is obtained from a tall plant with grass-like stems found in wet lands. Seagrass can be recognized by its grassy, hay-like scent which dissipates with time. Colors range from sage green hues to olive. Seagrass has a non-porous surface that gives it a naturally smooth texture and sheen quality. Its rigidity gives it natural durability.

"This rug came unbelievably well packaged. It was a feat itself to get it out of the wrapping! The border is wide and mitered, which looks so much nicer than others I've seen. It lends a lovely texture to the room. The smell is noticeable at first but dissipates in a couple of days - it reminds me of tea or hay, not unpleasant at all. I imagine I will have this for years - it seems extremely durable. Nice to have something a bit different from what you see everywhere. I will likely order another for the front of the house. Highly recommend!"

"I just received my 3rd seagrass rug yesterday. I love them. The 2 I received were 6X9 for an indoor sunroom. The 8X10 I got 3 years ago is used in an office where it has held up under lots of traffic and 3 dogs. Thanks. I am about to buy a 9X12 for my den. I highly recommend this company for their shipping and consistently good product."
