Trieste Jute Rug
After quite a bit of research, I realized that Jute would be my softest option and have the look I wanted. I looked all over the web and at a few stores, and it was a bit of a challenge to find something that fit all the descriptors.
Finally, I found this rug at NaturalAreaRugs.com. It came in just the right size, was just the look I was going for, and with the $50 off coupon code they were running, it came in at $119 with free shipping. The perfect price! I also read great things about the expediency and quality from Natural Area Rugs. So I took the plunge and pressed the button.
And in just a few days, I unrolled our rug, and it was love! The perfect way to warm up the space just in time for the cooler months.

Area jute and bamboo rugs is one of the simplest ways to revitalize, modernize and beautify the decor of your home. Bamboo rugs can add vibrant colors and design to all the rooms in your home. They can be used to create a point of focus in a room or to give the room a particular look and feel. Jute rugs are also easy to change with the seasons or with your mood and if you choose to move, they are one of the home decor items that you can easily take with you. It is no surprise that area rugs are of great interest to anyone who is thinking about home decor.
Jute rugs and bamboo rugs share a common look and feel because they are both made from 100 percent natural fibers and are soft, yet durable on the feet. Bamboo rugs are very diverse, able to be used in a kitchen, living room, bedroom, play room or dinning room. Bamboo rugs can handle the traffic of children or guests and are easy to clean. Both jute rugs and bamboo rugs don’t require much maintenance or excessive cleaning because of their stain and dust resistance.
You can take your jute rug or bamboo rug outside once month to beat it. Use a rug beater when cleaning these rugs. Drape the rug over a swing set or a clothes line and beat the rug to loosen all dirt and debris that is built up in the rug. Allow the rugs to hang outside for eight hours before brining back in the house. If your jute or bamboo rug gets dirty or stained, it’s best to spot treat it instead of cleaning the entire carpet. Before using any cleaners on your rugs, be sure to test the cleaner on an inconspicuous spot to ensure it doesn’t bleach or stain your carpet further.
You can also use basic preventative measures such as keeping children away from a jute rug, placing the bamboo rug in a room that doesn’t get a lot of use and keeping the rug away from excessive direct sunlight. Implementing some of these easy steps can save you a lot money and frustration in the future. While jute rugs and bamboo rugs are easy to care for, they still need to be used with preventative measures in mind.
Use a jute area rug in your living for added comfort or a bamboo rug in your dinning room for an earthy, yet elegant appeal. Smaller area rugs may be used in entry ways or in the bathroom or kitchen as small floor mats. Place jute rugs by your kitchen sink or under the toilet and sink in your bathroom. Add some finishing touches to your bamboo rugs by placing live bamboo throughout your home. Live bamboo is easy to care for because it doesn’t require any maintenance except to make sure it has water in its basin.
If you want to add a new look, a new vibe and new type of atmosphere to your home use jute rugs and bamboo rugs to achieve an outdoors, fresh feel. These rugs are extremely versatile and can complete any room in your home.
An ancient material with much history, jute is often used as the backing to carpets, instead of the surface. But, its versatility and unique appearance and texture make natural Jute Rugs a fantastic accent to any room.
Because the jute is grown in many Asian and Middle-Eastern countries, it can be successfully used to accentuate a similarly themed room. In addition, natural Jute Rugs, especially those with borders, add a natural, yet polished look to your home.
Colors of Natural Jute Rugs
The jute is traditionally a light brown color, although the hue ranges depending on where it was grown. Despite this fact, natural Jute Rugs can be dyed to many colors and woven into one-of-a-kind patterns and designs. These dyed Natural Jute Rugs add a more festive flair to any living space.
Durability of Natural Jute Rugs
Although they are known for being delicate and soft, Natural Jute Rugs are surprisingly durable as well. Woven tightly together by skilled hands or precise machinery, Natural Jute Rugs will be able to withstand spills, traffic, and pets. Because of its delicate nature, however, it is recommended that you clean your Natural Jute Rugs with a damp cloth, as opposed to steam cleaning them.
