Hardwood floors are expensive parts of any homes or office. The beauty and aura they add to the atmosphere of your home or office is much appreciated and considered in most interior designs. But hardwood floors is also quiet hard to maintain. Apparent care and preservation of your hardwood floors must be brought into attention most especially in high traffic areas, an area rug maybe place in these areas to protect your hardwood floors. Consider also other special places where to put rugs these places include areas in hallways or foyers, corridors and near the kitchen counter where a lot of things going on when you prepping up for dinner or something.

Exquisite Persian rugs may be a good idea to place in areas where you do a lot of pleasurable entertaining like in the living room or sala, but the best advice we get from interior design experts is not to cover up the entire hardwood floor just place the exact size that would fit you area. After all its the hardwood floor you want to show off. Having accent rugs is also a great idea it adds contrast to your hardwood floors.
